Fitzgerald Suite

Rue magazine just published some photos from the new Fitgerald Suite at the Plaza Hotel in NYC- it is so fabulous!  The Plaza worked with Restoration Hardware to design the suite.  It is dedicated to F. Scott Fitzgerald (the author of the Great Gatsby).  I just saw the movie last weekend and LOVED it!  The set design was amazing and definitely inspired me.  I like the black, white and gray color scheme of the suite:

Thoughts

This is a great stone floor- I like the 3 colors mingled.  We are working on getting some mosaics made like this:

I'm also loving the little black and white mosaics in this bath....they shimmer!

Warwick, RI

We just returned from a trip to our new store in Warwick, RI.  It looks great!  I really liked the city of Providence, it was just beautiful.  Here are some shots from the store:

New Urban Home Builders

I came across the portfolio from New Urban Home Builders this morning.  They are from Grand Rapids.  I'm not sure if they used our tile in these rooms- but they look like ours!  I like what they've done:

2013 NKBA Best Bath Winner

We just returned from the Kitchen and Bath Show in New Orleans...sponsored by the NKBA.  It was a great show- in a great city!

Here is the winning NKBA Best Bath Award (for Large Bath). It's from Younique Designs in Texas.  It's a Baroque-style bathroom with the look of a high-fashion boutique.  Designer Shea Pumarejo did a great job with this one:
